Upon first look, this dress probably looks like it’s uncomfortable because it’s practically spray painted to my body. In fact, it is one of the most comfortable dresses I wore this summer. Perfect for vacations, it’s quick, easy, and simple. Not only that, but it was ridiculously cheap from H&M. I love to wear dresses in the summer because they are so quick to put on and go. You can pair them with sandals or sneakers, which is a double bonus. I chose this pink color because I wanted to keep things light. Pink symbolizes love and I was in love with the moment and whole experience of being in Barcelona.
Not only did I spend a few days in Barcelona, but I also went to the beach town Sitges. I have to say, it is wildly recommended. It’s this adorable little beach town that is easy to find, with a little bit of a google search. I had already been to Barcelona once in the past, knowing a little bit about it I wanted to discover someplace new, cool, and close enough that it would feel like a day trip.
Sitges is beautiful. You can sense that it is old and has a lot of history, but at the same time it is very fun. Modern in the sense of its free spirit and openness to the Gay community. So free, they even have a nude beach catered to the LGBTQ crowd and a lot of bars and nightclubs that are geared in that direction, however not necessarily exclusive to it. I recall even seeing a drag queen hosting a lunch and entertaining the crowd at some point, I did love the purple hair, but missed out on a photo, my bad.
Lastly the place was beautiful. Amazing beach with an incredible view. I stood at the top of these steps and was blown away. Being a beach girl myself, I could not help but feel right at home. However, the Mediterranean sea is very different from the Atlantic ocean, which I am used to.
I absolutely love the beach. It’s literally like a second home for me. I could stay on the beach for hours upon hours. Why I love the beach in Barcelona is because it’s a part of the Mediterranean ocean. Something about that water just gets me. Perhaps because I grew up along the Atlantic ocean and that water is perpetually cold. Especially up North where I am from. Also, did you guys notice, I got that visor hat I was gushing about. I really love how it looks and with some luscious curls cascading around, it gives it a good vibe.

So I took a lot more shots in this dress than I had thought. Of course I had to show more face and bless you all! Again, I enjoyed Barcelona the second time around. A lot more than I did when I had visited years earlier. My suggestion is to always visit places with an open mind and be respectful of the locals. More often than not, you’ll find that people really want to be helpful. Tons enjoy teaching you about their culture and place as well. I’m so glad I gave Barcelona a second chance.
On another note, this city loves graffiti. There seemed to be tons of graffiti on all the buildings. Most of it looked to be legally placed as well. Of course I had no complaints. I only wish I knew which artist drew what.
