You guys, the level of art on the walls in Barcelona is insane! I am going to have at least 5 or 6 different posts strictly dedicated to the walls and my pink dress. I went in a 2 block radius and got a majority of the photos. Please, bare with me. Yet, in my defense, isn’t that what this blog is all about…finding the beauty in everyday locations and places? I think so. I hope my posts continue to inspire you to get out there and find cool walls, cracks and crevices no matter where you are and find the beauty in them. After all, we are all artists in our own rightful way. Once again, this simple pink dress makes for the perfect outfit concerning the beautiful background. I’m in love and I never thought I would ever set foot in Barcelona again after catching food poisoning back in 2011…yes I held a mini grudge. What can I say, ya girl likes to eat. ha.
Upon first look, this dress probably looks like it’s uncomfortable because it’s practically spray painted to my body. In fact, it is one of the most comfortable dresses I wore this summer. Perfect for vacations, it’s quick, easy, and simple. Not only that, but it was ridiculously cheap from H&M. I love to wear dresses in the summer because they are so quick to put on and go. You can pair them with sandals or sneakers, which is a double bonus. I chose this pink color because I wanted to keep things light. Pink symbolizes love and I was in love with the moment and whole experience of being in Barcelona.
Reebok – “Polish Pink”
My inner ballerina did a pirouette when I saw this wonderful pair of Reeboks. No but seriously, I was once a ballerina and these definitely touched upon that long forgotten life I once lived. Now, I typically reserve the Freestyle Hi silhouette for those working in the restaurant trade, that and older geriatrics. But I gotta tell ya, I’ve already seen the power of these old people shoes with my royal blue pair I own. I always get compliments when I wear them, so I’m sure these wrinkled, tumbled leather pink version are sure to kill. Final Word: I’m so down for these.
I don’t frequent Starbuck’s too often, however I love the idea of this drink. Why you ask? Simply because it’s pink. Ombré pink to be exact. Consisting of cool lime, coconut milk, Teavana Shaken Iced Passion Tango Tea and a little hibiscus. Stir and the color will change to a light pink. Final word: I’m curious to try, may even post the experience to the gram.
adidas Originals – “Superstar BW35 Slip-On“
How cute are these? I absolutely adore them for the summer! Slip-Ons are great in the heat, because they’re easy to put on and this specific sneaker is made for the warmer months. Not a new silhouette for the model, but it’s modifications for summer are updated. Breathable mesh replaces what was once knit, making it a viable option as it warms up outside. A single elastic strap extends from the shell toe and loops around the vamp. Final word: Sitting pretty in pink, these sneakers are dope, dope, DOPE!
