Fall in New England
I am officially going to say it’s fall. While I do love this season, I think it has to do with growing up in New England. I was very lucky to witness the leaves change from green to yellow and brown. I used to dislike raking leaves, but now I see the true beauty in even that. The changing of the season is always very spiritual for me. It’s a time to reflect and recalibrate. Look at what you’ve been doing and where you’d like to go. I lie to take a step outside of myself and really look at what’s going on. Almost like spring cleaning, but in life. It’s really therapeutic and I suggest it to everyone.
One technique I like to do is wake up with the sun, sit near a window and watch it rise. Sit silently, close my eyes and reflect. Sometimes it’s nice to have a friend with you, family member, or significant other. The extra energy really adds something special. It’s a very sacred thing, but watching the sun rise is just so amazing. If you try this technique, I’d love to know, feel free to comment about it below.
