I hate unexpected photos, but this one I kept and even decided to post. Very quirky and fun, from the hairstyle down to to the drink in my hand. I’m in front of this place called Freddies, which used to be in Paris but is now closed. They served cheesesteaks, which used to be my favorite place, but now they’re closed. The sandwiches were so good because the bread. It wasn’t your average sub quality bread, in fact they were made special for the restaurant in a French boulangerie. That added French touch was something else. It’s a shame they’re gone.

Lately I have been on a search to find my bliss, my genuine, true, whole hearted happiness. Everyday I have been working on meeting that place and figuring out what exactly it is that will create and sustain my happiness. I have read countless books, listening to tons of lectures, and watched several movies on the subject. In the end, one conclusion I have come to is this; being happy takes work. More work than being sad, so whenever I have a happy moment, I consider it a victory. This photo, is a representation of my winning in a moment and found an instant to just be happy. The photo below, is happy too, because for me the color yellow is happiness. Keep smiling folks. 😉
I absolutely love everything about this look. It’s reminiscent of a schoolgirl, British or even Jamaican schoolgirl, or any schoolgirl for that matter. I’m a huge fan of baroque shoes, bowler hats, and of course Ray Bans. My skirt is from this store called COS, which was created by the same people who brought us my favorite store H&M, which is where I got my hat! I will say COS is a bit more pricey, but you can find amazing, lasting pieces at a reasonable price.
